What if they made it so that if you destroyed Six’s music box and broke her trust you have the normal ending. However, if you find a way to free six without breaking her music box (if they made it an option) then this could be the alternative ending 😊 And then Six could be going to the Maw to try and fix herself before returning to Mono but then absorbing the Lady’s powers, and then the third one could be about Mono going on a quest to cure Six of the missing part of herself and getting rid of the dark magic, right?

My main theory for what happened to cause the world to look like this: Long ago, the Signal Tower intercepted something it shouldn't have. Something from beyond our galaxy, that transmitted itself into every home where there was a signal. Like the Shimmer from Annihilation, though, it has no idea what it's dong, it's just reaching out, and trying to understand things, not knowing how it's changing them.
